A kindergarten through 12th grade school campus along with an associated teaching academy situated on the town common of Disney’s new town of Celebration were designed as a community focus for the families of the town. The facility is scaled to the surrounding buildings while offering a distinguished civic presence to the public park spaces. A unique classroom “neighborhood” prototype was developed to support contemporary teaching pedagogy. (Alan Joslin, as Project Architect with William Rawn Associates, Architects)
