Gabe has worked in various architecture firms in the USA, France, and Japan, and was educated at MIT and Princeton. He is interested in architecture history, historicism in architecture, historiography and methodology of architecture theory, and the historicity of buildings in the context of cities and media. Gabe has taught architectural design and history/theory courses at Princeton and the University of Tokyo.
